For the past few years people around the country have been knitting Prayer Shawls for the homebound and those in hospitals. Some of our parishioners have begun this ministry. As each person begins to knit, he or she says a prayer for the person who will receive the shawl. As these shawls are presented to our homebound, a prayer or blessing is said for the recipient.
