Ms. Cynthia Carpenter-Marr

Director of Music

Cynthia Carpenter-Marr is a graduate of Boston University School for the Arts with Bachelors in Art and a Masters of Music Degree. Her major area of expertise is choral conducting. Ms. Carpenter taught and conducted five summers at Tanglewood Music Festival, Young Artists Program in this capacity. Cynthia has conducted numerous community musical organizations, taught in several Boston area schools and universities, and has been a professional church musician continuously for the past 40 years. Cynthia has served as Music Director at Our Lady of Fatima since 1977. As Our Lady of Fatima’s music director, Cynthia is dedicated to leading parishioners of all ages to create a worship soundscape that will enrich the parish’s faith journey.

Cynthia is married to Bob Marr and is president of Environs Interiors, Inc., an interior design firm.
