Sacristans

Mission Description / Purpose: Sacristans assist with the liturgical
environment of the Church and the needs of the liturgical life of
the parish.

Duties of Sacristan
I. Clean Crying Room windows facing the altar once a week.
II. Change tabernacle cover and lectern banner colors as needed.
III. Dust all dark wood in the Sanctuary including the altar rail once
per week.
IV. Change cloths on altar and tabernacle side as needed with a corporal
in front of the tabernacle.
V. Once a week wash the finger bowl by the tabernacle and put in
fresh water.
VI. General Cleaning
VII. Take all linen home to wash and iron twice a week.

Meeting Schedule: Duty assignments are made for six months
