Religious Education Program

We are asking ALL parents to consider signing a CORI (Criminal Offense Record Investigation) permission form in anticipation of helping out with the children at some time during the year. The CORI forms are available at the parish office and must be presented with a government issued photo ID and signed by a staff person or designated volunteer.


The formal religious education program for children at Our Lady of Fatima begins in grade one and continues through eleventh grade. The optional preschool/kindergarten accepts children on a space available basis.
Religious Education of children involves not only the teaching of Catholic Doctrine, but also the spiritual formation of each child. The education program for each year seeks to bring children into a closer relationship with God through an understanding of sacred scripture and Catholic beliefs with an experience of liturgical worship, sacramental celebration, and prayer.

Meeting Schedule: Classes in kindergarten through grade six are held once a week as follows:

Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and 10:30 am

*Monday at 3:15pm and 4:30p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday at 4:00 pm

The religious education classes in grades seven and eight are held once a week at the Parish Center on Monday or Tuesday evenings at 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Grades meet at 6:00 p.m. on Sundays in the Parish Center.

In all grades classes generally do not meet during school vacation weeks, 3-day weekends, and days when there is no public school.
