CURRENT GUIDELINES

The following guidelines were created with safety as our top priority. We will continue to re-evaluate our procedures, as health advisories and state mandates continue to evolve.

  1. Cardinal O’Malley has dispensed the Sunday Mass obligation indefinitely. With this in mind, all people who are 65 and older, those with existing health concerns, unable to wear a mask for an extended period or anyone who feels fearful should stay home. Please continue to attend Mass online.
  2. Weekend Masses are as follows: at Saint Anselm on Saturday at 5 PM, at Saint Bridget on Sunday at 8:30 AM and Our Lady of Fatima at 10 AM and 12 PM. The church will open 15 minutes before each scheduled Mass. Parishioners are encouraged to use the hand sanitizers upon entering. There will be no hospitality after Mass until further notice.
  3. Pre-registration is required. The number of attendees must be severely limited due to the need to maintain distancing. Families and those who live together may occupy one pew. Single individuals will be distanced from each other by 6 feet. That means one large family, or two smaller groups can occupy one pew.
  4. We will utilize one entry way: front doors at Saint Anselm and Saint Bridget. The parking lot entrance closest to the front door at Our Lady of Fatima. Greeters will guide parishioners to alleviate any congestion. Seating will begin at the front of the church one row at a time, working toward the back of the church.
  5. Missalettes have been removed and there will be no congregational singing allowed until further notice. Mass will not begin with a procession nor will there be an offertory procession. We continue to encourage online giving as a no-touch solution.
  6. All parishioners over the age of 5 are required to wear a mask during Mass. Please note parishioners must provide their own mask as the parish does not have a supply.
  7. Communion will be celebrated after the final blessing. Parishioners will be directed to come forward one row at a time, one side at a time, while observing the 6 feet distance markers on the floor. Everyone should leave their pew, even if you do not plan to receive Communion, in order to avoid people having to step over one another. Please fully extend your arm with hands cupped as Father Gerald drops the host into your hand. Please step to the side, where the floor is marked, lift up the bottom of your mask and place the host in your mouth before returning to your seat. The video at the bottom of this page provides these steps in detail.
  8. At the conclusion of Communion, please leave the church as directed, maintaining the 6-foot distance requirement. You are invited to spend time quietly in prayer in your car or in the garden after receiving the Blessed Sacrament.
  9. Daily Mass is now open to the public with no reservations required. 9 AM Monday - Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima so we can continue to live stream for our homebound parishioners.
  10. Thank you for your patience and support!
